FLUORINE SYMPOSIUM
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Second South African Fluorine Symposium, to be held from the 11th to the 15th of February 2024 at the Sun City Resort in the sunny Northwest province of South Africa. The South African Fluorine Symposium aims to bring together fluorine experts from both industry and academia and permit the exchange of scientific knowledge regarding the latest developments in the field of fluorine chemistry.
The Second South African Fluorine Symposium will focus strongly on the industrial applications of fluorine chemistry and presents an opportunity for global stakeholders in this field to present their research as well as engage in meaningful commercial networking.

Game Drive
Sun City is situated in the hills of the Pilanesberg nature reserve. This unique mountainous area in an otherwise flat landscape is the result of an ancient volcano. This rugged landscape offers wildlife unique habitat to thrive in.
The park boasts elephant, buffalo, leopard, cheetah, lion, giraffe, and a host of antelope and smaller game. Your game drive experience will start after breakfast and we will spend 3 hours exploring the park on our own private vehicle.
Platinum Mine Tour Visit
Your Platinum Mine Tour (concentrator) visit will consist of an 8-hour visit to a local mine where you will be guided through the processes involved in the recovery of resources.
